Nathan HPL 020

A running-specific product, the Nathan uses an interesting vest-type system to distribute the weight of the contents more evenly across your back, chest and shoulders than the usual rucksack design.

Developed specifically for some nutcase called ‘Mud and Guts Miller’ who runs ultra-distance races in extreme heat, the Nathan has a 2L bladder and a mesh pocket on the front for an extra bottle that can be accessed without removing the pack. A further small pocket on the back has retaining mesh and clips for keys, and an exterior bungee cord.

Another advantage of the Nathan is that the design allows it to be worn quite loosely without it slopping around. The materials and construction are of very high quality and soft to the touch, which means wearing it next to the skin with just a running vest doesn’t invite chafing.
