Suunto T6c Red Arrow Limited Edition

Suunto has recently been encroaching on Polar’s monopoly at the higher-end of the heart rate monitor market, and their new T6c is a great example as to why. This watch looks great, and has a solid feel and a good-sized screen.

The UI has been altered slightly from the original T6 and is easier to use, with three individual, user-configurable screens. The device boasts an altimeter, training zones and even the ability to measure your EPOC. But you’ll need to buy additional sensors if you want to monitor and manage your bike and run data.

There’s a GPS pod that’ll provide run/bike speed and distance, but this too is an optional extra. The data is then easily downloaded to the training manager software, which allows an in-depth professional analysis.

For top-of-the-range monitoring over a selection of outdoor activities, the Suunto, if you can afford it, will definitely impress.
