Lazer Helium bike helmet

A great bike helmet with some lovely touches, even though it's a big spend

The Helium is Lazer’s top-of-the-line lid, and comes complete with the sort of lovely touches that you’d expect from such an expensive helmet.

The first thing to know is that all Heliums now come with a free Aeroshell, that clicks in place to cover the vents and make it more ‘road aero’ – an added bonus in the wet, too.

The aqua pads on the inside front are also a nice idea, and great at keeping sweat out of your eyes. The Rollsys system is easy to adjust on the fly as it only needs one hand, while the rear basket at the back now moves up and down so you can dial your fit in even more.

The LED embedded in the Rollsys is a particularly smart addition – you can never have too many lights when riding in the dark.
