Kask Vertigo C50

Another helmet deemed good enough to be worn by the pros, with Bradley Wiggins and the rest of Team Sky HD protecting their noggins with this offering from Italian manufacturer Kask.

Although the Vertigo comes in lighter than the Ionos at a svelte 270g, it doesn’t skimp on luxury. The internal padding is extremely plush, has a cooling honeycomb structure and is removable for washing. The chinstrap is Eco-leather with a reflective trim, ticking both comfort and safety boxes, and feels good against your skin. The cradle makes for a comfortable fit and has soft silicon grippers that give a secure feeling.

The dial for the ratchet adjustment is positive and large enough to be used with gloved hands, the 24 vents do an excellent job of keeping your head cool, and the helmet has a classy and compact appearance. What’s more, the fabric bag will help keep your helmet in good condition.
