Selle Royal Forum Athletic entry level bike saddle review

Jack Sexty puts this entry-level bike saddle through its paces to see if it delivered on comfort and performance, as well as price

Entry-level bike saddle

The Forum Athetic is the sportiest saddle in Selle Royal’s Forum series, with a 156mm width for medium-to-wide sit bones and a central pressure relief channel. The padding provides comfort without the vibrations and numbness you can get with entry-level saddles, keeping its form throughout long rides.

It’s worth persevering to get your position spot on, as you won’t be able to take full advantage of the padding if your sit bones aren’t comfortably within the central channel. At 453g, it’s too heavy for PB chasers, but for those who want a quality saddle for training and commuting without a hefty price tag, it’s highly recommended.
