Sidi T2

As with most Sidi’s, the first thing you notice is the ‘bling’ factor. The T2 opts for the classic gloss white scheme followed, as usual, with the snug Italian fit we love – unless you have wide hobbit feet that is!

The shoe is constructed from a single thickness lined upper; this is supremely soft on the inside and reduces unnecessary material weight. The T2 also uses the Sidi carbon composite sole, which is a stiff, comfortable, low profile unit. It’s also compatible with the Look Keo memory system, making it easier to swap out damaged cleats after short transition runs.

It has a double-strap design that’s really easy to get into open but, due to the close fit, it’s fairly hard to get on with the front strap fastened. The major problem with leaving the front strap open is that it catches on the chain and gets the lovely white upper oily. The T2 also benefit from a big heel loop to help you pull them on.
