Sidi Energy 2 Carbon Composite

Our only grumble with these rather expensive shoes is that they don’t quite exude the luxury you’d expect. The carbon composite outsole is a bit uninspiring, and heavy or very powerful riders might notice a lack of torsional stiffness.

That said, the Energy 2 is fully compatible with Look’s memory system and has been designed to minimise thickness while still providing longitudinal stiffness at the MPJ and instep.

This combined with the superb adjustment systems ensures the highest levels of comfort. The attention to detail and finish is remarkable with, for example, small slices in the tongue to allow better conformance to your foot. And almost every component is replaceable, too.
