Adidas Girano

This Adidas offering employs a classic three-strap closure system, making it easy to complete mid-ride adjustments. The straps are a bit on the short side to give any huge leverage, but they always had sufficient length for complete closure.

The construction of the uppers includes the use of Agion antimicrobial material to help tackle bad odour. There’s also good ventilation and an aesthetic that’ll ensure you don’t go unnoticed.

At 315g for a UK size 8.5, the Giranos are no heavyweights. The fit initially appeared to be narrow, but the closure system ensured that the shoes were well received by testers sporting a variety of foot shapes.

Although the sole was not as stiff as any carbon counterpart, they’re comfortable and compatible with all major shoe manufacturers. A great-value shoe with a simple but well-executed design.
