Gore Power 2.0 Windstopper

Great protection and great fit… and not a silly price

Gore Power 2.0 Windstopper

In the past we’ve tested many Windstopper-constructed garments, including a couple of Phantom jacket incarnations, and their windproofing and breathability abilities are unmatched.

Ditto the Power 2.0. Over calm, flat rides or short, punchy ascents, our upper-torso micro-climate remained stable. And that feeling of contentment is key to the Power 2.0’s success.

The fleece-lined inner is pipe-and-slippers cosy, while the fit feels like the most bespoke off-the-peg garment we’ve ever worn! Three deep rear pockets are eminently practical and there’s also a small rear zipped pocket.

Nothing extraordinary about that, but inside nestles a sewn-in watertight plastic pouch that’s sufficiently sizeable to take an iPhone – though its true worth is keeping that café fiver dry on winter rides.

It’s such a simple design but does its job brilliantly, much like the Power 2.0 itself.
