Cateye Uno and Rapid 3 LED

Another front and rear package that includes a neat-looking single LED front light and a three LED rear. The rear runs off a single AA battery, delivers 80hrs of burn flashing and is extremely visible.

The front isn’t much bigger than the AA battery that powers it but although giving 60hrs of burn flashing – which is impressively bright – only manages a slightly disappointing 15hrs continuous.

That said, it’s designed primarily for the urban commute and is bright enough that if you had short unlit sections, you could maximise battery life by switching to continuous beam for these stretches only.

Although a wider flood would be good, you’ll be safe from potholes and top marks for side visibility Fitting for both lights is a simple jubilee-style attachment that the lights clicked into, and the rear-facing switch is large and precise.
