About Challenge Barcelona
Taking place on the seafront of the Barcelona, this is a race that will live long in the memory. Unlike many Challenge races, you have a choice of sprint or Olympic-distance events, though there’s a slightly longer distance for the pros.
The race begins with a one-lap swim in the Mediterranean Sea, which starts on Platja de la Mar Bella, one of the cities gorgeous sandy beaches.
Next, the bike leg unfolds on a flat and fast multi-lap course along the seafront, and it’s then followed by a run along the same promenade, with adoring crowds lining the route.
