He's also a former 220 Triathlon and Cycling Plus editor and is currently technical editor at road.cc. While competing, he won his age-group at Ironman 70.3 UK. Mat is a Cambridge graduate who did a post-grad in magazine journalism, and he also a winner of the Cycling Media Award for specialist online writer.
