Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 31

Paging Mo Farah – storied Pegasus model now includes a 10mm dropped offset, engineered midfoot saddle and contoured last

Nike Zoom Air Pegasus 31

With more than 30 years of history behind it, Nike’s Air Zoom Pegasus is one of the most storied models in its history, and has just received its latest refresh – which will interest London 2012 hero and Pegasus fan Mo Farah.

The 2014 update adds a dropped offset (10mm) for a more natural stance, an engineered midfoot saddle for targeted structure and support, and a contoured last for streamlined fit. Pegasus fans will be pleased to hear that Air Zoom cushioning in the heel remains for 2014, along with breathable uppers.

Described as a neutral running shoe for training day in and day out, Nike say that it feels faster and more responsive than any model in its 31-year history, thanks to the Air Zoom cushioning made of tightly-stretched tensile fibres woven inside a pressurised Nike Air unit, designed to generate an explosive response off the ground.
