Whinlatter Off Road Duathlon

We've just been informed about this off-road duathlon in the Lake District in November. By the look of this image, the course looks stunning and should provide a thrill for duathletes and an off-season focus for triathletes.

The event is entirely off road and the first time a duathlon has been held in this location. Whinlatter Forest is a fantastic area for trail running and mountain biking with an extensive network of trails in a mountain environment. The run routes are a combination of well surfaced singletrack and forest trails. The mtb route is a good mix of technical singletrack and forest roads incorporating the new bike trails.
