Sevenoaks Tri’s charity

Sevenoaks have chosen the RLSB as their official charity

The Royal London Society for the Blind has been selected as the official charity for both Sevenoaks Triathlon events in 2010.

The RLSB was selected by the Sevenoaks Triathlon organising committee, who was keen to maintain the event’s focus on supporting charities within the local community.

“We’re absolutely thrilled to be working with the Sevenoaks Triathlon and are very grateful to them for providing us with charity places in the event as well as helping raise our profile among the athletes taking part,” Penny Wedesweiler, Community Fundraiser, said.

“The Sevenoaks Triathlon is very well regarded and attracts many local athletes as well as other from further afield, so we’re incredibly excited to be part of an event that has garnered so much interest on a national level. The fact that the event sold out within four days is testament to how well it is regarded.”

The RLSB has charity places to give to those interested in raising funds and relay teams of three people are also encouraged to apply. Athletes who would like to fundraise are encouraged to apply directly to the RLSB via the details below for a place and are asked to commit to raising at least £250.
