Places available for Roth

Organisers have released extra places

Athletes interested in gaining entry into the sold-out Quelle Challenge Roth, the world’s largest long-course triathlon, are in luck: an extra 250 places were made available yesterday.

The pre-Christmas release of 250 individual places and 80 spots for relay teams has become an annual event for the popular race, with a portion of the proceeds going to support charities in the Nuremberg region. Last year’s pre-Christmas release filled in 10 minutes.

Applications will be available on the website from 10am in Germany at www.challenge-roth.com.

The 2010 edition of the Quelle Challenge Roth, set for 18 July, filled to capacity in record time – just eight hours. The race will accommodate 2,500 individual starters and 550 teams.
