MetaMan Bintan reg opens
One for the bucket list
Iron-distance triathlon MetaMan Bintan has opened early bird registrations for next year’s event, taking place in Indonesia next August.
Taking place on the island of Bintan (around an hour by high-speed catamaran from Singapore), the race is again being held at the Nirwana Gardens resort, where the Bintan Triathlon festival and Tour de Bintan bike race are also held.
While the open-water swim is usually very calm, the bike and run legs can be very challenging, with the majority of the run done off-road through the Wakatobi jungle.
