Main ballot opens for World Triathlon London

Chance to race on same track as Non

World Triathlon London

The general entry ballot is now open for age-group athletes hoping to race at this year’s World Triathlon London event in Hyde Park.

The event takes place on 31 May/1 June and gives athletes the chance to rip up the same course as stars like Non Stanford and the Brownlee brothers.

Last year’s event hosted the World Triathlon Series Grand Final, which saw a massive medal tally for Britain’s 450-strong age-group team of 30 golds, 31 silvers and 22 bronzes.

Entries for this year’s event are available for the following distances:

– Olympic distance: 1,500m swim (1 lap), 36.5km bike (5 laps), 10km run (4 laps)
– Sprint distance: 750m swim (1 lap), 22.5km bike (3 laps), 5km run (2 laps)
– Super sprint Distance: 400m swim (1 lap), 15.5km bike (2 laps), 2.5km run (1 lap)
