Lance Armstrong’s Ironman Schedule Revealed

Four races on the cards so far for seven-time Tour de France winner after this weekend's Ironman 70.3 Panama

Lance Armstrong’s return to triathlon – confirmed by the man himself on Twitter – now has a schedule, posted on the Livestrong website, starting with Ironman 70.3 Panama this coming weekend.

After Panama, the Texan currently plans to race the Memorial Hermann Ironman 70.3 Texas on 1 April, followed by Ironman 70.3 Florida on 20 May, Ironman 70.3 Hawaii on 2 June and finally Ironman France on 24 June.

The French race will be a with a view to qualifying for the Ironman World Championship at Kona on 13 October, and whether its a realistic goal will become slightly clearer after Panama 70.3. One thing we know for sure is that we’ll be seeing a lot more of Armstrong this season.

There’s also a competition on the Livestrong website to win the opportunity to race with Lance, and you can find that here.
