UK bike maker Factor has launched its first online shop, putting a limited-edition version of its Vis Vires superbike on sale to mark the occasion.
Just 100 of the specials will be made for www.factorbikes.com, with each one marked by number and accompanied by an official certificate from the Norfolk-based firm.
There are two groupset options for customers to choose from:
- Dura-Ace Di2: £7,999
- Dura-Ace Di2 with Factor Power Cranks: £9,999
The Vis Vires Dura-Ace won a Gold award for design and innovation in the Racing Bike category at Eurobike 2013, with judges describing it as an "extraordinary" bike.
John Bailey, MD of Factor Bikes, said: "A lot of hard work has been put into creating the world's most advanced road bike, and we are extremely happy it is now available for a lucky few to own a special piece of cycling history.”
