Bumper 2014 for Euro triathlons

21 European Cups confirmed for next year

2014 will see one of the biggest and most diverse European triathlon race calendars ever, with the European Triathlon Union adding new Cup events in Latvia, Ukraine and Romania to the lineup.

The ETU has confirmed that there will be 21 European Cups in total next year, covering many different race formats and disciplines:

– 4 May: ETU Triathlon European Cup / Antalya (Turkey)
– 11 May: ETU Triathlon Junior European Cup / Vierzon (France)
– 18 May: ETU Sprint Triathlon European Cup / Bratislava (Slovakia)
– 24-25 May: ETU Sprint Triathlon European Cup / Dnepropetrovsk (Ukraine)
– 24 May: ETU Triathlon Junior European Cup / Brno (Czech Rep)
– 7 June: ETU Triathlon Junior European Cup / Kupiškis (Lithuania)
– 28 June: ETU Triathlon European Cup / Kiev (Ukraine)
– 5 July: ETU Triathlon Premium European Cup & ETU Triathlon Junior European Cup / Holten (Netherlands)
– 13 July: ETU Sprint Triathlon European Cup / Tartu (Estonia)
– 19-20 July: ETU Triathlon European Cup & ETU Triathlon Junior European Cup / Geneva (Switzerland)
– 26-27 July: ETU Triathlon European Cup / Banyoles (Spain)
– 2-3 August: ETU Triathlon European Cup / Istanbul (Turkey)
– 9-10 August: ETU Triathlon Junior European Cup (semi-final/final) / Tiszaujvaros (Hungary)
– 9-10 August: ITU Sprint Triathlon European Cup / Riga (Latvia)
– 17 August: ETU Triathlon European Cup / Karlovy Vary (Czech Republic)
– 6 September: ETU Triathlon (Premium) European Cup / Constanta-Mamaia (Romania)
– 20 September: ETU Triathlon European Cup & ETU Triathlon Junior European Cup / Koper (Slovenia)
– 27 September: ETU Triathlon Junior European Cup / Alanya (Turkey)

The full 2014 calendar is not yet complete however – details of Cross Triathlon and Winter Triathlon Championships races are expected to arrive once ETU’s partnership series with TNatura and Challenge are finalised.
