220 Awards stage one voting closed

Stage one now closed, stage two open on Wednesday 9 December

The first stage of voting for the 220 Triathlon Awards 2010 has now closed. Record numbers took to the polls once again to nominate the people, products and places of 2009 that will be long etched in the memory.

Once we’ve finished counting the first round of entries, the five candidates from each category with the most votes will go through to the second round, where you’ll be asked to select the winner of each award. The second round will run from 9 December to 8 January when you’ll be able to cast your vote with another visit to 220’s website.

The winners will be announced at the 220 Triathlon Awards ceremony, in association with Taut sports drink to be held at Sandown Park, Surrey, on 13 February 2010, during the weekend of the Triathlon Cycling & Running Show at the same venue. With over 120 of the sport’s leading brands taking part, TCR 2010 is on course to be the biggest show yet. There’ll also be seminar theatres, a SwimZone, the Saucony 10K run, indoor cycle competitions and the Evans Cycles Ride It! events. You can book your tickets for TCR 2010 at www.tcrshow.com.

Visit www.220triathlon.com on Wednesday to vote in stage two.
