This year's ITU Long Distance Duathlon World Championships will again take place in Zofingen, Switzerland, with the world's elite duathletes battling for a $50k prize purse.

The event (10km/150km/30km) will take place on 8 September and serve as both the pinnacle of ITU's long distance duathlon season, as well as feature as a part of the Powerman Series.

Last year's event was won by Rob Woestenborghs (BEL) and Eva Nystrom (SWE), with the Swedish athlete winning her second gold by an astonishing 11min margin.
