Marmite, lager shandy and haggis were just a few of the tasty suggestions sent in for our ‘design-a-gel’ comp – but there can only be one winner

Last month we joined forces with new nutrition brand Push to offer one lucky 220 reader the chance to design their own energy gel and win 100 sachets of these gels along with three boxes of current Push gels.

Push say their Clean Energy Gels contain no chemical preservatives or any additives while maintaining the optimal combination of carbohydrates and electrolytes in a water-based gel.

Marmite, lager shandy and haggis were just a few appetising suggestions sent in to 220 headquarters. However, they didn’t quite make the cut.

Drumroll please…

We’re pleased to announce that the winner of the competition is Sueet Tong from Leeds, who created a fusion of refreshing flavours to take the prize. Sueet created a combination of watermelon and mint – an invigorating and trendy coupling.

Push currently have three flavours available in shops – Passion Fruit, Cherry and a Caffeinated Blackcurrant version – with each sachet delivering 75mg of caffeine. The gels retail at £1.65 and online for £28.95 for a box of 20 (includes free shipping) at www.pushnutrition.eu.
