If you’re kicking yourself for missing out on a place at one of the UK’s most popular races, then it’s 220 to the rescue… Because this month we’ve teamed up with Pace Setter Events and Speedo to offer two lucky readers the last two places in the 2011 Vitruvian Triathlon as well as a Speedo Elite wetsuit each.

You’ve got to be quick off the mark to get a slot at the Vitruvian – all 1,000 places for the 2011 middle-distance race were filled in less than 33 hours of the entry form going live last October.

So if you didn’t get organised in time, this really is your only opportunity to bag an extra two coveted places on the start line (worth £110 each), on Saturday 3 September at Rutland Water. And if you feel that this is too short notice to get in shape, you can defer your entry until next season. For more race info go to www.pacesetterevents.com.

To help you get the best from your swim, we are giving each of our winners a Speedo Elite wetsuit worth £400. Optimised for speed and featuring the latest innovations in materials, cut and construction, the suit incorporates vortex stroke panel technology, which increases the drag coefficient, allowing more energy to be directed to the water.

Yamamoto Aerodome panels provide maximum buoyancy to achieve the optimum swim position, and the entire suit is seamlessly bonded and coated in Yamamoto SCS, which dramatically reduces water friction. Flexible 1.5mm-thick underarm panels enable complete freedom of movement. For more information and to view the entire Speedo range, visit www.speedo.co.uk.
