The For Goodness Shakes! X Terrain Festival ’09 is now the largest UK off-road event of its type (with possibly the longest name, too). It features various off-road race types, from triathlon to 10k running.

The Xtreme Terrain Festival (XTF) takes place on Ministry of Defence land at Hawley Lake, Surrey, on 26 September, and uses some excellent woodland single tracks and heath land to make up the mountain bike and cross-country run.

Athletes can take part in their choice of several individual races including XTT (triathlon), XTD (duathlon), XTA (aquathlon) or the XT10k run. Alternatively, they can
opt to team up and compete in the XTT relay race.

Event organisers, all about triathlons, are offering six free entries to the first six names picked from the hat that answer the question below correctly.

Each winner will also receive a case of For Goodness Shakes! recovery drinks to help them with their training up to the race, and a limited edition For Goodness Shakes! t-shirt. To be in with a chance of winning, click here http://www.220triathlon.com/competitions.

Correction: In the latest 220 (out tomorrow) we incorrectly stated that entry to The Xtreme Terrain Festival is closed. This is not the case, but races are filling up fast, so head over to http://www.allabouttriathlons.co.uk, and quick, to sign up. Apologies to all concerned.
