Canyon Bicycles, in partnership with Xterra England, Mavic and 220 Triathlon magazine, are offering the chance for TWO first-time Xterra participants to win a complete bike kit package to support their participation in Xterra England on September 7-8 in Surrey.
In return for a loaned Canyon mountain bike* for a period of six weeks up to and including the race, together with a free pair of Mavic shoes and helmet and entry to the race, Canyon are looking to capture the story of the challenge in making the switch to Xterra.
How to get involved
Canyon are looking for two triathletes (one male, one female), who have never taken part in Xterra before. Ideally experienced in more traditional forms of triathlon, perhaps you’ve always wanted to give Xterra a go but haven’t had the kit to do it. Age or ability doesn’t matter, what’s more important is your ability to tell a good story and share your experience of tackling the challenge of Xterra through your social media profiles or your blog.
To enter is simple, just show us why you should be one of the two athletes by posting to the Canyon UK Twitter/Facebook profiles using the Hashtag #CanyonXterra. Make us a video, get your friends to give you a shout out, whatever you think will grab our attention and make us pick you out from the pack!
The closing date for entry is 12 July and the winner will be announced w/c 22 July.

*Exact model to be determined according to size/availability. Entrants must be UK residents aged 18 years or older, excluding the promoter’s employees. By entering, you agree to be bound by all the rules of the promotion. Only one entry per person allowed. No responsibility accepted for lost, delayed, ineligible or fraudulent entries. Closing date for entries is noon on 12 July. Two winning entries will be chosen random from all eligible entries. Winners will be notified w/c 22 July. The draw is final and no correspondence will be entered into. For details of the winners, send an SAE to Immediate Media Co, 9th Floor, Tower House, Fairfax Street, Bristol BS1 3BN within two months of the closing date. If any winner is unable to be contacted within one month of the closing date, the Promoter will offer the prize to a runner-up. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize with one of the same or greater value but there is no cash alternative.
