Protect your feet from the cold water and bag yourself a Black Friday bargain with these neoprene swimming socks from Zone3 which are now on sale at Wiggle.

Not only do these socks boast a tight and secure fit, they have also gone the extra length (literally) by increasing the height of the sock so it reaches into your wetsuit to stop any slippage and any freezing water coming into contact with exposed skin.

For added protection when walking to and from the water, they have also fitted the base of the sock with a durable fabric featuring additional grip.

In our review, we gave the Utopia a score of 90% and praised it for its aerodynamics, comfort and lightweight nature.

In our review of the Elemnt Roam we praised it for its usability, top-notch colour display and solid navigation features. In fact, we even suggested it were a strong and usable competitor to Garmin.

The only thing holding it back? The price. But the good news is that in Wiggle’s Black Friday sale you can get it for £100 cheaper than the list price!

Dhb Aeron 2.0 Wetsuit – £180 £95

Wetsuits are one of the most expensive purchases for new and seasoned triathletes alike, but you can get a bargain every now and then. Our recommendation this Black Friday is the dhb Aeron 2.0 wetsuit, which currently has a whopping 47% off both the men’s and women’s versions.

The suit is made of 80% neoprene and 20% nylon to balance flexibility, buoyancy and warmth, with a 3mm core and 5mm thigh panels. The arms use 2mm panels to boost flexibility.

In our review of the Aeron 2.0 we praised it as a “reliable budget suit with plenty of buoyancy, warmth and lift for sinky-leg swimmers”.

Giro Foray Road Helmet (MIPS) – £89.99 £67.49

You can protect yourself on your next ride with almost 30% off with this Giro Foray bike helmet. It comes equipped with MIPS technology which uses a low friction layer that claims to reduce rotational movement, acting on the brain in the event of an impact.

A slim and light helmet that should keep you aerodynamic on your bike, it manages to maintain plenty of ventilation so you don’t overheat while you work out.

Zoggs Original Predator Flex Polarized Goggles – £38 £19

Boasting superior underwater visibility, you can now bag these Original Predator goggles at a bargain, with 50% off the list price.

Tested to US military standard, this is a high-tech watch that doesn’t compromise on durability, boasting thermal, shock and water resistance, so you can take it with you wherever your next workout may be. This larger version of the Fenix boasts a 1.4in screen and uses a scratch-resistant sapphire lens.

Claiming to be compatible with most bike types, this trainer should be easy to pack away once your ride is complete, due to its small, foldable structure.

Hoka Clifton 8 Running Shoes – £125 £75

Watch a pro triathlon race on TV and you’ll quickly start to notice multiple athletes sporting shoes from Hoka. There’s a reason for that – the brand makes a darn good shoe.

The Clifton 8 is an example of that. In our Clifton 8 review last year we praised it for being uber comfortable and ideal for logging long slow-to-mid tempo miles.

You won’t find many Hoka shoes available at this price, either, with an impressive 40% off the RRP.

Huub DS Long Course Tri Suit – £199.99 £100

Developed with help from six-time Kona champ Dave Scott, the Huub DS Long Course tri-suit has been a great performer over the years. When we reviewed a previous version back in 2015, we had this to say: “A high price, but plenty of quality, craftmanship and race day benefits.”

Among those benefits was well-placed mesh panels and lightweight fabrics that helped with temperature regulation and breathability.

Now, you can get in on those benefits too, as Wiggle currently have this high-quality tri-suit on offer at half price!

Dhb Aeron Lab Women’s Tri Suit – £200 £120

The Aeron Lab is hailed as a second skin by dhb, with complete flexibility and decent freedom of movement.

Dhb Hydron Thermal Neoprene Swim Cap 2.0 – £28 £16.50

With the colder temperatures settling in, if you want to carry on with your winter swimming you’ll need to invest in some neoprene accessories.

One of the key ones is a winter swim hat, such as dhb’s Hydron Cap, which 220’s editor Helen Webster reviewed recently.

She gave it a score of 88% and said the cap delivers good coverage, is easy to pull on and off and has colourful stripes that add much-needed visibility.

With 41% off, it looks like a no brainer for all winter swimmers.

Dhb Aeron Thermal Wetsuit – £190 £120

If you’re looking for a thermal wetsuit, you probably don’t want to spend hundreds. Luckily, you don’t have to as the dhb Aeron Thermal is available for just £120, which is a good price.

Editor Helen Webster tested it recently and said: “This was a very easy suit to love, being flexible and easy to pull on and off, and fitting this tester like a glove.” She also praised the buoyancy and value for money.

Dhb Trinity Tri Shoe – £80 £32

If you’re new to triathlon and you want to invest in a cheap triathlon shoe, consider the Trinity Tri Shoe from dhb. It’s pretty good value at its RRP of £80, but it currently has 60% off in Wiggle’s Black Friday sale and can be had for just £32!

Given its low price point, it’s not going to be the ultimate triathlon shoe, but our review of the dhb Trinity showed it was solid enough for newcomers, comfortable and no slouch during transition due to a heel loop and transition hook.
