We need your views on doping

Contributors required for upcoming 220 feature on doping in age-group tri

A recent investigation by the Plos One publication into doping in triathlon has brought performance-enhancing drugs to the top of the agenda in tri.

The triathlon-doping-study revealed that one in seven of the 3,000 age-groupers on the start lines at Ironmans Regensburg and Frankfurt (pictured), and Ironman 70.3 Wiesbaden had admitted to doping.

The topic was discussed extensively at the Triathlon Business International (http://www.triathlonbusinessintl.com/) conference in California and we’re planning a feature next issue on doping in tri. Which is where we want your input.

Do you have major concerns about the levels of performance-enhancing drugs in tri? Is it something you’ve encountered in the UK race scene? And have you been tempted to/actually used PEDs for a race?

Email our features editor, Matt Baird, if you want to have your say on the issue and he’ll respond with further info. All comments can be made anonymous in the magazine.
