Ahead of this year’s Yorkshire Festival of Cycling, the Brownlee brothers have set a target lap time for the cycling time trial of 5:32mins, and a target time of 17:03mins for the 5km trail run.

With the Tour de France due to pass through the festival site at Harewood House on Saturday 5th July, the 2012 Olympic medallists have agreed to set target times for this year’s event, which takes place from Friday 4 July to Sunday 6 July.

The event will include team, individual and endure time trials held over the 3.9km paved bike course, as well as off-road trail runs (5km and 10km) and duathlons (10km run/18km bike/5km run). Other highlights include an RAF Red Arrows fly-past, live music including Soul II Soul and Spandau Ballet’s Tony Hadley, and on-site camping.

Day tickets start from £18, and camping prices start from £14 per person per night (based on a 10x10m standard 3-night weekend camping pitch for 8 people). For more info and to register, head to www.festivalofcycling.org.
