New link-up in Eastern region promises to deliver triathlon masterclass

The Triathlon Centre is a partnership between neighbouring stores Advance Performance, GreenWheel Cycles and Crightons Hydropool in Peterborough, three separate stores under one roof specialising in each aspect of the triathlon sport, offering a unique service as a major triathlon centre in the Eastern region.
The Triathlon Centre @Advance Performance store Cambridge launched in 2011 and already provides advice and training for their customers, which now includes specialist Triathlon Mentoring with leading coach Tim Williams.
Tim Williams of Perfect Condition is one of the UK’s leading triathlon coaches with over 20 years of experience in all three disciplines, a Level 3 British Triathlon Federation Coach and Coach Tutor and is Head Coach at Cambridge Triathlon Club and the British Triathlon Eastern Regional Academy.
He has been involved in coaching numerous elite and professional triathletes and cyclists. Including his wife, British Elite Triathlon Champion, Heather Williams and World Champion cyclist Emma Pooley.
More than just coaching, Triathlon Mentoring offers insights that can make a lasting difference to your performance.
Triathlon mentoring with Tim Williams gives you the opportunity to benefit from his experience on a one-to-one basis. Tim has a unique talent for assessing an individual’s technique and movement and for giving clear and simple explanations.
According to Tim, mentoring is more than coaching, he says, “I aim to improve the knowledge of the people I work with. Rather than issuing instructions and providing a training schedule, I try to make sure that they really understand how and why their training works, so they can go on to make lasting improvements.”
