The Transvulcania Ultra Marathon takes place on La Palma in the Canaries. The 83km ultra marathon run attracts over 1,000 international runners who take on a total of 8,500m of ascent on the island’s spectacular volcanic landscape. Part of the Skyrunner World Series, the event attracts the world’s very best trail and ultra runners.
