Brighton Triathlon Club (BTC) aims to put triathlon on the Brighton map. We are a new club with big ambitions and we have some very exciting opportunities for athletes of all abilities interested in multisport.

We have a number of Level 1 and Level 2 qualified triathlon coaches and a wealth of experience and knowledge to draw from. A number of our triathletes have represented GB in age-group competitions in duathlon and triathlon.

We currently offer weekly coached sessions in swimming, running and cycling and we aim to develop this further as we continue to grow.

- Our 90-minute swim session is focused on developing an efficient swim stroke and endurance through skills and drills and tailored swim sets dependent on level of ability.

- Our cycle sessions involve developing riding skills on a velodrome and longer group rides around the quiet roads of Sussex.

- Our run sessions focus on developing strength, stamina and an efficient run style and are designed to enable runners of varying abilities to join in.

As we develop, we will be introducing run and cycle brick sessions, open water sea swims, summer evening group cycles and cross country training runs in the South Downs.

We’ve teamed up with a locally based sports provider who will be the clubs principle sponsor and provider of our fashionably designed triathlon kit. We have developed links with organisers of races and can offer our members discounted entry fees.

We are a very open and welcoming club who passionately believe in the development of all our triathletes. It’s not all about hard work and training, we also like to have a bit of down time and we plan to have a range of social activities to build our team spirit and camaraderie!

These are very exciting times at BTC and we would love you to come and join us. If you would like to find out more, you can visit us at www.facebook.com/brightontriclub or www.brightontri.org or follow us on twitter at twitter.com/brightontriclub.
