Triathlon England has announced seven Triathlon England – National Championships for the 2013 season.
The increased number of Triathlon England – National Championships reflects the increasing popularity and growth of the sport. The seven events are expected to attract over 5,000 athletes to take part.
The 2013 calendar includes the famous Club Relay Championships, which are held annually at the National Water Sports Centre in Nottingham. The event, which was previously a British Championships, will become the largest of all Triathlon England – National Championships hosting over 2,000 athletes.

A new inclusion on the calendar is the introduction of cross duathlon, which will be organised by Multi Sport Management in October 2013, organiser Graham Lee commented: “Cross Duathlon will prove to be an excellent addition to the Triathlon England – National Championships calendar. This will be the first event we have hosted for Triathlon England and we will do our very best to ensure all competitors have a great day of off-road racing.”
