Mud is all but guaranteed at the the first instalment of this year's Wellingborough Multi Terrain Dirt Run, which will take place this Sunday (19 January) at the Jurassic Irchester Country Park in Northamptonshire.
Competitors can choose between three race distances (5km, 10km, or 15km), with the organisers promising a challenging course, beautiful surroundings and varied terrain.
The next two events in the series take place at the same location on 2 February and 16 February 2014, when returning competitors will try to beat their previous personal best and race for the series titles.
Online entries will close at midday tomorrow (Tuesday 14 January), though there will also be a small number of on-the-day-entries available.
