There were two British finishes in the top-ten at last weekend’s Ironman European Championships in Frankfurt, with Corinne Abraham taking gold ahead of second-place Liz Lyles (USA), and Jodie Swallow finishing seventh.
In the men’s race, Sebastian Kienle (GER) held off reigning Ironman World Champion Frederik Van Lierde (BEL) to win in 7:55:14.
