Euro Duathlon Champs confirmed

Powerman will again host the European Long Distance Duathlon Championships and European Sprint Distance Championships in the Dutch town of Horst aan de Maas over the weekend of 12/13 April, 2014.

Powerman will also host the Olympic Distance European Championships on 23/24 August in the Austrian town of Weyer, along with the Junior European Championship and a mixed Duathlon relay (two men/two women) for Elite, U23 and junior athletes.

Britain’s Lucy Gossage won the women’s elite long-distance race this year, while Richard Horton won the men’s junior sprint race (5km run/20km bike/2.5km run) and Georgina Schwiening claimed silver in the junior women’s race.
