Samples of Erdinger beer will be handed out at the finish line of 26 races this coming tri season, including the Outlaw, as the Bavarian brewery has decided to double the number of events it gets involved in.

The races cover a variety of triathlon and duathlon distances from sprint to long course, and include Challenge Weymouth, Blenheim Triathlon, The Outlaw, the London Triathlon, Vitruvian and the Dambuster.

“We want to be in the right place, at the right time for athletes," said Erdinger's export director Waltraud Kaiser. "For us this means the end of training sessions and race finish lines."

Erdinger claims that its Weissbier offers isotonic recovery properties for endurance athletes, and it has already become a common sight at similar events in German-speaking countries.
