Coached open-water sessions at the National Water Sports Centre

National Water Sports Centre in Nottingham to host open-water swim sessions

Midlands based Absolute Triathlon Coaching will be hosting a series of weekly coached open water swim sessions at the National Water Sports Centre, Nottingham starting on Wednesday 27th April 2011 and continuing until September.



Professional Triathlon Coach Steve Lloyd & former ITU Age Group World Champion Nick Dunn will lead the technique based sessions which are open to all abilities of triathlete including complete beginners.



Steve Lloyd said “We will be providing high quality open water swim coaching to triathletes across the East Midlands and beyond and we can cater for all abilities and all distances. Whether you are looking to take part in your first open water race this season, want to increase your confidence or are an experienced triathlete looking to make improvements these sessions are a great place to start”.



This is the second year that Absolute Triathlon Coaching have held sessions at this prestigious venue which is one one of the best open water venues in the UK. In addition, the National Water Sports Centre has plenty of off road running trails and offers the opportunity to do some serious transition practice. Absolute will also have a full set of sample wetsuits from Zone 3 available to try and buy at the session.



Sessions are open to everyone and the cost of is £7 per person with no registration fee. Included in the price is coaching, parking, changing rooms and hot showers, there is also a bar on site serving hot drinks and snacks. Participants this season will benefit from smaller groups at a new time of 7.00 pm – 8.00 pm and sessions will take place on either a Wednesday or Friday evening, anyone interested in attending is advised to check the website at www.absolutetri.com before attending and pre-registration is essential.
