British Triathlon has confirmed that the Clumber Park Duathlon will host next year’s British Duathlon Championships giving GB age-groupers to win a British title next season.

The race will take place on 21 March 2015 in north Nottinghamshire for around 1,200 athletes, and involves a 10km run, 40km bike and 5km run through the famous Sherwood Forest.

Athletes will also have the opportunity to qualify for the 2015 ITU Sprint and Standard Duathlon World Championships and 2016 ETU Sprint and Standard Duathlon European Championships.

Both run sections take place on fully closed roads that feature a steady climb from the start line before a fast decent into transition and the finish line. The long rolling roads around Sherwood Forest provide a testing bike course as the roads pitch from climb to descent throughout the 40km route.
