Chilly Duathlon

Places avalable for Castle Combe race

The Big Adventure Store Chilly Duathlon takes place on Sunday 21 November at the Castle Combe Race Circuit.

The race was the biggest duathlon of the South West in 2010 with over 500 people competing and again hosts this year’s BUCS Duathlon Championships, so there'll be complete beginners right up to elite students from Loughborough racing.

The course will be the usual traffic-free 2-mile run/10-mile bike/2-mile run around the famous Castle Combe circuit with the DB Max chip timing system producing splits and bike lap times too.

There's a Garmin Edge 705 bundle up for grabs on race day including a heart rate and cadence monitor and there'll be age-group prizes as well and a goody-bag and official 'Chilly' medal for all finishers.

New for 2010 is a personal engraving service so competitors can get their finish medal engraved with their finish time and there’ll also be the heated upstairs viewing area for spectators, a bouncy castle for the kids and an on-site Expo from the www.thebigadventurestore.com.

Entries for this traditional season ender will close on November 15th but you can grab a race slot now at www.dbmax.co.uk.
