Just under 4,000 slots to the world’s largest long distance triathlon, DATEV Challenge Roth, have sold out in record time. When entries opened at 10.00am CET on Monday, the relay teams sold out in just 50 seconds.
Spots for German individual athletes were next to sell out in 2:09 minutes while the places reserved for international individual athletes went in 3:15 minutes.
The DATEV Challenge Roth web site had over 34,000 unique visits generating 98,865 hits when entries opened. The countries with the largest growth over 2013 are USA and Ireland with 65 nations in total represented.
