7Oaks launch junior aquathlon

7Oaks Tri Club is pleased to be able to announce that entries for our new race are now open.



The HSBC Premier 7Oaks Junior Aquathlon is being organised by the same team that organise the 7Oaks Triathlon.



It will be held on the afternoon of Sunday 2 October 2011 at Tonbridge School Sports Centre.



The race is open to anyone born between 1 January 1996 and 31 December 2003.



Competitors will swim and run different distances based on their age groups as follows (ages determined as at 31 December 2011):



8 year olds - ‘Tristar Start’ (born 2003) - Swim 50m / Run 600m



9-10 year olds - ‘Tristar 1’ (born 2001/2002) - Swim 100m / Run 1500m



11-12 year olds ‘Tristar 2’ (born 1999/2000) - Swim 200m / Run 1500m



13-14 year olds - ‘Tristar 3’ (born 1997/1998) - Swim 250m / Run 3000m



15 year olds - Youth’ (born 1996) - Swim 300m / Run 3000m
