Due to popular demand, entries for The Maldon Triathlon have been extended and will close on 13 July or when full. Organisers says there are just 40 places remaining.
The Maldon Triathlon is based around Promenade Park and Hythe Quay over the Sprint and Olympic distances. The event takes place on 20 July 2014 and consists of a 750m/1.5km river swim along the Promenade, 25km/45km cycle on the quite and scenic roads of the Dengie peninsula, and finishes with a 5km/10km Run based entirely around Promenade Park.
