July 2021 Issue of 220

The July issue of 220 Triathlon is out now. Here's what you can expect to find inside...

In our July issue, we get to grips with the ins and outs of swimrun racing. Our experts delve into the logistics of the adventure-style race, including exactly what equipment is needed and why (tow ropes, paddles, swimming with shoes on, whatever next?), as well as top training tips, best swimrun races and how to race when tethered to your partner.

We catch up with a score of time-crunched triathletes working demanding jobs to figure out just how they balance training with their hectic schedules. Among them, you'll find mum of two, Nikki, who juggles her career as a property lawyer with Ironman training, and dad and GP Stuart, who's fitting in training for his first ever long-distance event around vaccinating patients.

Jodie Stimpson is the comeback kid. Following her win at Challenge Miami in March, we catch up with the West Midlands' finest at a pivotal juncture in her career.

As usual, issue 392 also features a host of gear reviews, including wetsuits and men's tri-suits, expert coaching on mastering the open water, and much more.
