Blushes aside though, new brand Sass are launching this week with a comprehensive range of products that aim to revolutionise the feminine hygiene category.
Nine products make up the range, but of most interest to triathletes will be the two Sass Sportive products: Intimate Protection Barrier Cream (£16) and Intimate Recovery Serum (£14). The barrier cream is designed exclusively for women (rather than being a unisex or adapted version of a men’s formula) and aims to reduce skin friction while also preventing imbalances that could lead to intimate health problems. The recovery serum is designed for use after exercise and cools and soothes skin.
Other products in the range include a shave gel, purifying cleanser, freshness gel and post-shave skin concentrate with prices ranging from £7 to £16. All are on sale now in selected Boots stores and through the Boots website and www.wearesass.com.
