Review: TriGirl Dazzle top & shorts

As the name suggests, TriGirl specialise in producing kit to fit and flatter female triathletes. This new top and shorts set comes with a separate support bra and the first thing you notice when you slip these on is the quality of the fabric.

The lightweight material feels comfortable against the skin – sitting closely without being clingy and wicking moisture quickly and efficiently. The top has a longer-length body to keep it in place and, thanks to its clever cut, sits well without needing a rubber hem to keep it in place.

Likewise the shorts feel comfortable and the chamois provided enough padding for the bike leg without being an irritant on the run. The waistband was noticeable while cycling (something you avoid with bib shorts or a one-piece), but many women will appreciate the flexibility this set offers. The crop top-style bra is a nice bonus but larger-busted athletes may need something more supportive.
