Review: Speedo Pinnacle V swim jammers

Made from their ever so durable ‘Endurance’ fabric – designed to be 100% chlorine resistant – and with hefty flat lock stitching throughout, Speedo’s Pinnacle Jammers feel like a piece of training kit that will really stand the test of time, even if they get left to fester in the bottom of a kit bag on the odd occasion.

Styling is quite subtle yet a bit livelier than plain black and the sizing’s reasonably generous – as you’d hope with training rather than racing kit – plus they feature the same V cut seams as on Speedo’s top range Fastskin3 Super Elite.

At £35 they’re pretty good value and get on with their intended job without any obvious faults to pick up on, even though, theoretically, some of the racier options out there might offer marginally less drag with higher performance fabrics.
