Review: Speedo Rift Pro goggles

Speedo’s Rift Pro goggles cut sharp lines across the face to give a distinctly robotic look. The nose piece is a little inflexible – meaning the fit isn’t so good for those with narrower faces – but the goggle fit and comfort was excellent for us.

The light-filtering lenses ensure a good reduction in glare from the water in bright conditions, while a wide visual field is possible due to the shape and curve of the almost mask-like design.

The impressive size adjustability is aided by a discrete push-button system that, together with the ridged strap, allows rapid tightening and controlled loosening of the goggles.

The split strap isn’t quite long enough for those with more hair to provide a good, comfortable fit, however, but the cheap price tag certainly makes these goggles an appealing proposition.
