Speedo Rome Placement swim suit

Taking its name from the location of 2009's FINA World Swimming Championships, the Speedo Rome Placement suit is part of the Roma 09 collection.



The bright pink colour scheme and distinctive Roman numeral design through the front of this suit really set it apart from the often staid swimsuit offerings, so this isn’t one for those who like their suits plain, subtle and simple. It does, however, have everything that you’ve come to expect from Speedo.



It’s made from their Endurance material, which is 100% chlorine resistant and offers 20 times more fade resistance than regular swimwear fabric. It’s quick drying and retains its shape swim after swim. It’s also fully lined through the front so is extremely comfortable to wear which bodes well for those longer swims. The splice back straps are ‘spaghetti style’, which don’t offer as much support to the shoulders and chest as the Tyr or Orca suits but do allow greater freedom of movement in the upper body.
